Cape Cod Beer Tour

For our anniversary, the wife and I took a trip to Cape Cod, MA. While there we heard about this great brewery called Cape Cod Beer. This brewery has been a staple for many summer visitors to the Cape. The pictures of the tour are below. The facility is minutes from the main highway that runs through the Cape and is located in a large complex of storefronts. The brewery tour itself was quick, more of like a tasting then any thing, but we did go on a day when the official tour was not running. If you are going to visit the brewery and experience the best beer that Cape Cod has to offer then make sure to visit on either a Saturday or Tuesday.  They are famous for their “Growlers”, which if you do not know already are large glass bottles of beer. Actually it is a half gallon of beer goodness.  They offer growler refills right at the brewery or for first time buyers the growlers themselves are offered at stores (and Cape Cod Beer) throughout the Cape.

This MA brewery was very clean and the staff was very helpful with their beer knowledge. There was three beers that we sampled and each with different elements to savor. We tasted the Red, IPA and the seasonal beer called Cape Cod Summer. The seasonal ale was our favorite.  It was refreshing and reminded us of a day at the beach. Just remember to pack your Cape Cod Beer in ice or else it will soil, but I do not think that will be an issue since it was so tasty. Their beer truly is “A Vacation in Every Pint”. Oh yea and make sure to say hi to Buster the brewery dog on your visit.
